Our goal is long-term water security for the Southern Downs

We are a diverse group of Southern Downs residents who want to ensure that:

  • Residents understand the Emu Swamp Dam proposal

  • Important information is provided to the community

  • The deliberations of State and local government (SDRC) are transparent and open

  • Options pursued by SDRC for urban water supply are affordable and the best value for residents 

  • The conditions imposed on the dam adequately protect our unique flora and fauna
